Last Sunday, 2 July, our Events Co-ordinator kindly agreed to open her garden for the Surrey Horticultural Federation and asked that all funds raised go towards Surrey Gardens Trust’s Schools Award and Gateway programme. The weather was breezy but warm and sunny for most of the afternoon. Perfect weather to stroll around the garden, enjoy the views and relax with a cup of tea and delicious slice of cake.
The garden was looking marvellous, with beautiful flower combinations in the borders, a bountiful kitchen garden and greenhouses, wild meadow areas bursting with butterflies and surprises around every corner!
We would to thank Surrey Horticultural Federation for helping at the gate and assisting with parking. We would especially like to thank all of the fabulous SGT members that manned the refreshments table and baked all of these delicious cakes. We truly believe that we provide the best cakes around!
