Gatton Park Spring Bulb Display

  • Gatton Park Redhill Reigate RH2 0TW United Kingdom (map)

Gatton Park has one of the finest displays of snowdrops and other early spring flowers in Surrey. Once again the Gatton Trust has invited us to enjoy the gardens and parklands in a more intimate and quiet period over half-term.  For £15 per person, we will have full access to the gardens and the price will include tea, coffee and cake in the magnificent Gatton Hall upon our arrival.  In addition, we will have a guided tour of the gardens to include the Japanese garden, rock garden (where the Pulhamite pond was recently restored) and Edwardian Old World Rose Garden (currently under restoration).

Gatton Park is a 250 acre estate in the Surrey Hills that was originally designed by the landscape architect ‘Capability’ Brown. The Gatton Trust works to conserve and restore the historic parkland to its former glory. All income goes towards our work. I am sure most of you are familiar with Gatton Park, but please visit their website at gattonpark.co.uk for more information. Many of you will recall our Capability Brown Study Day set at Gatton Park in 2016 celebrating the 300 year anniversary of his birth.

Cost £15 per person. Given the timing, deadline for booking is 5 February 5pm.
